Before I write my opinion, I just want to say while I have checked the top ratings in all categories, I did not do so lightly. I tend to err on the, click one below the top. However, in this case, I just couldn't. It would not have been a fair assessment in any area to merely click good as the real estate service I received was truly excellent. When I bought my home 31 years ago, it was and continues to be the largest purchase I have ever made. When I decided to sell, I knew it was the largest sale I would ever make. So it is not surprising that I actually interviewed a number of realtors before giving my listing to an agent. Kim Louie was recommended by a friend who recently sold her property. From the time I contacted him to ask if he would be interested in listing my home and about scheduling an interview to meet, Kim exceeded any expectations I could possibly have had. Prior to getting the listing, he provided me with information that would assist me in the sale of my home should he be the listing agent or not. Kim came very prepared to our initial meeting and had obviously researched the area and other recent sales. He came with a plan should he be the listing agent. When I had follow up questions and emailed Kim prior to the listing, he responded promptly. Needless to say, while I interviewed a number of realtors, I gave him the listing. Kim continued to impress me through the whole process with a plan for promoting/selling my property, information and support. Whenever I had a question, he was quick to respond and even initiated check-ins to see how everything was going. Throughout the viewings of my home and the multiple offers, Kim kept me informed in real time. I always knew what was happening and when. The end result, a quick sale and an offer that exceeded my expectation being well above the listing price. Following the sale; Kim provided me with a 'To Do' list and contact info so that by closing I would have everything in place, has continued to keep in touch, and even saved me when I called him from the dentist office early one morning as I had locked myself out of my home and needed the lock code to access a key to get back in. I could go on. I thanked Kim for all of the effort he put into selling my home and his support. He said that's his job. However, I think we all know that in any profession, there are those who do the job, and those who go above and beyond. Kim goes above and beyond. Thanks again Kim, for making what could have been a very stressful experience, smooth sailing.
