We are tenants un a property listed by alex and we have had what can only be described as bullying from this man for the last four weeks,he has harrassed us continuously,especially if we had to decline a viewing...the prospective buyers were always from out of town,and tried to make ys feel bad as its a 'buyers mAarket' will not accept 'no' as an answer,ge wanted someone to view through the day and i told gim there was nobody at home to get the dogs so he suggested we lock them in a room??? All day???,also accussed us of bad mouthing our landlords which was a blatant lie,we had phone calls at 9:45pm pressuring us into allowing a buyer to view the next day @ 11:30am,asked him twice to restrict viewings one sunday so as mu husband could do some repairs,he refused,and then tried to pressure us into someone come to view the day we moved out!!!!!,this man is nothing but a bully,has no consoderstikn for anybody except himself,i wouldnt reccomebd anyone to use this man as his lack of proffessionalism us unreal

Alex is an EXTREMELY high pressure sales man. The problem is he is relentless in pressuring the seller to sell quickly and for less than the market value. He has no idea where prices are going and has undervalued our condo substatially and the strong-armed us into selling as quickly as possible even trying to tell us that ridiculously low offers should be considered. We lost about $15,000 on our property compared to where prices actually are.

Bullied by Alex

We were tenants of people that hired Alex to sell their condo. The sale conditions came down to date of possession. We said we would start to look for a new place, but could not guarantee or commit to moving out by a certain time. Alex bullied us out of our fixed term tenancy agreement 5 months early so he could complete the sale. He tried to guilt us by saying his clients were losing money, tried to place the final decision of the sale on our shoulders and finally threatened us by “going to war” with showing after showing that we would have to put up with if we caused the sale to fall through. We came away from every interaction with Alex feeling pressured, stressed and bullied, which only added to the frustration of the currently difficult rental market. The landlord has no right to terminate the fixed term tenancy agreement early, and being a real estate agent, Alex should know better. This shows a complete and utter lack of concern for anyone but himself. I would venture to bet that he also bullied his clients into putting the property on the market, even though they new it was too soon with tenants in the property for another five months. The way this should have worked was: landlord approaches tenant and asks if tenant would consider moving out early, with adequate compensation from him of course, since he is thinking of selling. Only once the tenant signs a new tenancy agreement should the landlord put the property on the market.
