He was listing agent on a property that we purchased through another agent. He was dishonest to the point of criminality regarding a water sample. He provided a clear water sample from an unknown source but which we were told was probably chlorinated. The actual source water sample showed a rating of 22!! coliform. After the owner bleached the system the rating was still at 6! The agreement stipulated that the house must be in livable condition - it was far from it with water pipes broken from a winter freeze. When we tried to agree to a hold back of 10K on the house so we could effect repairs and install a UV treatment so my children and I could have safe drinking water he refused to agree. Many of the contractual agreements were not kept on his advice. What kind of person is this? We are at the point that I fear retribution for posting this but I am extremely upset at the endless difficulties in arranging a fair agreement on what should have been a straightforward purchase. Lawyer is advising we walk from the deal since he cannot close with the water sample as is.
