You can also take an anti-histamine like benadryl prior to enaitg the afflicting fruits and vegetables. I do not personally like this method because I do not like to put man made chemicals into my body if I can avoid it. You may want to condiser naturpathy or homeopathic alternaticves. This often involves slowly introducing the fruits and vegetables to your system over time so that your body has a chance to adapt slowly. Another method to avoid reactions is to not eat the offending fruits and vegetables in prime seasonal allergy time, generally spring time. The body is already so overloaded with pollen being released that it does not need the added burden. Your body is much more likely to react to the fruit or vegetables if it is on high alert. Whereas if you were to eat the same fruits and vegetables in the winter you are likely much better able to tolerate it and there is a good chance that your body will not react as bad, if at all.
