Yohannes acts as the agent for my current landlord. This is new lease taken on in January 2014. Seems to have little to no knowledge of building code, and proper state of maintenance of a place. Forced a competition between offers(If there really was a second offer on the place) to agree to explicitly forbidden clauses in the lease. (Demanding post dated cheques, no pets clause etc.) He completely ignored correspondence for 4 days, as we sent him information, e.g. electrical hazards, malfunctioning heat controls things like that. It took a threat of approaching the Tribunal for him to even respond to the messages, and come take a look. He responded within 10 minutes of that message being sent. Still a long road ahead for getting this worked out, but we shall see how he fairs through the rest of this game.
