Tony misrepresented himself as the real estate agent when renting an upscale Beechwood house(his words and written advertisement)We later discovered that he was the owner. The house was still occupied with someone's personal effects on September 30 (our move in day) after we had given him $4,200.00 and signed the lease .We later found out that all of this stuff was his.We had no choice but to move in and deal with the mess. We first had to use various rooms of the house to store the furniture . Then we had to clean out the cupboards and mildewed dishes out of the dishwasher.The kitchen cupboards were filled with old cottage style dishes and broken and unusable small appliances and rusted old pots and pans. Once this 3 bedroom four bathroom house was cleaned we began to unpack. This was exhausting to say the least. A much needed water softener was not repaired as promised and two of 4 bathrooms had unusable shower stalls. The promised BBQ (as advertised) hidden under a BBQ cover was unusable as it had rusted out and was a health hazard. We called union gas to have it disconnected from the main line. The hot tub cover had finally given in and was collecting water and leaves which had seeped into the hot tub itself. We didn't notice the problem at first because we moved into this house in the fall. We also didn't realise the deck was in disrepair and unusable. Towel bars were missing as well as damaged walls and banisters. The cold storage was filled with discarded computers home made bar and garbage. Every closet we opened was filled with stuff.I could go on and on about this unfortunate experience. Avoid this man.
