Steve was always coming into my house with no notice, even if I were sleeping in my bed. Nothing was ever fixed. He lied constantly. The house was a disaster when I moved in. Dirty and unlivable. I spend a week cleaning it. I took pictures. When I moved out I cleaned the place until it sparkled even patching and repainting holes in the wall that were left by previous tenants. And, he still kept my deposit. I had to go through Residential Tenancies to get it back. He tried to charge me for putting an add in the renter's guide, which was never there and never done. Also, should not have been my responsibility. Even then, he didn't pay it back on time, and I had to get the Residential Tenancies Branch to track him down again. I did get all of my deposit in the end. But, not without a fight. He tries to take advantage of everyone. He portrays himself to be all powerful and intimidating. DO NOT TRUST HIM!

I rented a unit from Steve a few years ago while pursuing my undergraduate degree. After my second year of Law School I have realized this agent relies on the assumption his tenants are uneducated and unable to defend their tenant rights. The quality of service offered and the units he rents are atrocious. Years of water damage, insulation issues and NO maintenance renders his units nearly un-livable. Any attempt to contact this individual are unanswered. He is very unprofessional and blames his tenants for issues arising from his own lack of upkeep. Again, his services are atrocious, beware potential buyers and renters!

Rented from Steve for two years, and then purchased a lovely home through him. No problem here!!!

Steve is the epitome of a "slum-landlord". He is unprofessional, neglects his properties and tenants and rents damaged and unsafe units. Any attempts to contact Steve are unsuccessful. Do not rent from this landlord or use his real estate services. Steve is the worst landlord that I have had to deal with in 25 years of renting.
