Unhappy Past Customer
My husband and I dealt with Rita Lombardo-McBride and her sidekick Virginia Chan from Century 21, in 2013. They tricked me into signing a conditional contract. Rita told me that there was a "cooling off period" if I changed my mind about selling my house with her but in fact there is no cooling off period. Later, I told her to cancel the contract and she said she did, and that her word is her word, and she stands by her word. Well, later when I was working with another real estate agent, Rita came out of the woodwork to say that I was still her customer and she said that she Rita was owed commission. My new agent agreed to letting Rita have some commission just so that I could sell my house, even though Rita did nothing to help us at all.
