Continued from the previous post… During the time that Julie handled the showings, she impressed us with her remarkable knowledge of each home and what they had to offer. Many were not her own listings, yet she had taken the time to become very familiar with the details on each property and once on location, she pointed out many great details (good or bad) that we would have missed or overlooked. Her knowledge was so vast that you could not tell the difference between those listings that were from her own agency (Delta Real Estate) and those of others. Due to personal issues, we had to postpone our search in order to meet a move for the 2012. Her professional and honest approach led us to retain her as our agent in search for our next home. We spent the winter corresponding both by phone and by e-mail and are now planning a trip to Winnipeg next week for new showings by Julie. Although Julie Friesen has less time in the Real Estate business than all the agents we dealt with during our military moves, she is the best, most knowledgeable, helpful and honest agent that we have had the pleasure to deal with. Our future home is in her hands. If she lived in our province, she would also be the listing agent for the home we are selling. Once Julie has found us our dream home, we will be sure to post our comments regarding the final transaction. Thanks for your time and patience with us Julie!

Having been in the military for over 30 years, we spent many hours with Real Estate Agents as each relocation meant buying and selling. Preparing for our final move, it is even more important to have a reliable and dedicated Agent as we are dealing long distance between two provinces. During Manitoba visits at various times during 2011, we attended several open houses rural South Manitoba area, leaving the listing agents with our search criteria. Unfortunately we were from out-of-province so they must have written us off as we never heard from them again. We found other properties on the internet and called the listing agent leaving them our search criteria. Again, we were never contacted. In August 2011, we attended another open house. The listing agent for this home was Julie Friesen. We were impressed with the manner in which she presented this property for the sellers and she was really responsive to all our questions or concerns. We left her with our search criteria. This time proved to be different. Within 24 hours, we were presented with several listings matching our search criteria and the search was on! Our military life must have made us very flexible as to where we live as we are not stuck on a particular area as much as we are to the type of home we are looking for. This makes life a lot more difficult for our agent who has to stretch the search to various rural areas including the city of Winnipeg. This however has not intimidated Julie Friesen in the least. My husband and I were due to return home to Saskatchewan; however Julie managed to arrange several showings for us prior to our departure. We were unfamiliar with many of the communities so her knowledge of each community was very helpful to us. Please read the next post for the rest of this post.
