We had a bad experience using Mathieu Arseneault to sell our property in Gatineau. First, in order for him to make money faster, he seriously underestimated the house. Then, as a marketing trick, he promised he'd charge 3% instead 5% in case he sells the house by himself and doesn't have to split the commission with another agent. Yeah...dreams...When he had hundred of properties in his portfolio, would've been quite difficult for him to focus on my house. Another great thing: out of 6 visits we received until an offer has been made, none of them were at the scheduled hour because he never knew the right hour ! Visitors were off (time wise) even four hours ! And, on top of everything, he never informed us that the 5% commission DOES NOT INCLUDE TAXES !!! So, on the closing day, we ended up paying two grand more than what we expected... Everybody who reads this can drag his own conclusion...
